Google adds a search bar to Stadia’s interface. Users can use it to search the 172 games that work on the streaming service. Stadia has been available since November 2019, a search function was missing until now.

The search bar will be available to all Stadia users in the coming weeks, Google writes. “It makes finding games much easier,” said the search giant. According to Google, Stadia users have indicated that they want a search function. It’s not clear why it wasn’t there yet.

Google also adjusts Stadia’s interface with sorting options for players’ game library. For example, players can distinguish between free games, games they have purchased and games that are part of the Stadia Pro subscription.

Google also shows a number of innovations that are coming to Stadia soon. For example, the interface gets a feed on which users can share activities. It contains video recordings and screenshots, which can be shared with friends. Stadia will also be accessible via the Android browser in the future. Now the Stadia app has to be used for that. It is not yet known when these changes will be released.
