Google adds macro videos to Pixel 7 Pro and blood saturation monitor to Watch
Google has announced its software upgrades called Feature Drop for this month. The Pixel 7 Pro will have the ability to take macro videos, while the Pixel Watch can measure blood saturation.
Adaptive charging based on charging habits is coming to all Pixel phones says Google. If there is a rhythm in charging, the phone will pick up on this and during a long charging session, start charging slowly and only fully charge the phone an hour before the software expects the charging session to end.
In addition, haptic feedback becomes customizable. If the phone detects that it is on a hard surface, such as a table, it will automatically vibrate less loudly than if the phone is in the pocket, for example.
In addition to the video macro mode on the Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 6 and 7 also get the feature to start the camera app’s countdown by raising a hand. In addition to measuring blood saturation, the Pixel Watch will also provide an optional notification if users have an abnormal heart rate. The updates for Pixel phones and the Pixel Watch can be installed immediately.
