God of War Ragnarök Trailer Shows Story Elements and New Gameplay Visuals

Sony released a new trailer for God of War Ragnarök during Wednesday morning’s State of Play presentation. It shows gameplay images, but it also becomes more clear about the story of the game.

Based on the trailer, it becomes clear that the relationship between Kratos and his son Atreus is again an important story element. Atreus makes it clear that he has a secret he doesn’t want to reveal and that Kratos continues to follow him despite it. There are also the necessary fights visible, such as against Freya. At the end of the trailer, a battle between Kratos and Thor is very briefly over.

God of War Ragnarök comes out on November 9 for PS5 and PS4. It will be the successor to the original game God of War that came out in 2018. In the original, six more of the worlds from Norse mythology were included, but in the new game, all nine worlds will be accessible. Players should also be given more choices during battles.
