Gmail gets option to put different signatures on email
Gmail users will soon be able to use multiple signatures when sending emails. This feature will be available to G Suite customers and users with personal Google accounts.
Google reports that this feature will be turned on by default. Users can create new signatures in Gmail’s general settings, which are then available to deploy via the signature menu in the action toolbar at the bottom of an email.
According to the company, this new feature gives users the flexibility to use different signatures on emails for different situations, such as communicating to people in different languages or distinguishing between new emails and responses.
In line with the “rapid release track,” the option to use multiple signatures is gradually becoming available to G Suite customers from now on; it can take up to two weeks for the feature to be visible. From March 24, it will be gradually made available to Gmail users; also for this group it can take up to fifteen days before the function can actually be used.
