Gmail gets more extensive right-click menu in G Suite

Google is expanding the so-called context menu of Gmail for G Suite users. Where that menu now offers four options, it will soon be twelve. It involves common email client options such as reply, forward, search by sender, and more.

Google talks about the new features starting immediately, but only talks about availability for business G Suite users. The question is whether Google reserves these kinds of basic functions for business customers. There seems to be a chance that ordinary consumers will also be able to use this menu within a certain time. G Suite has certain functions that the regular Gmail service does not have, so it is not certain that users of the free variant will also get the options.

The existing menu offers the options of move tab, archive, mark as unread and delete. This includes reply, reply all and forward, but also snooze, mute, label, search by sender and open in a new window. Those who are on a Rapid Release domain with G Suite will have the feature by February 26.
