Gigaset shows budget smartphones with exchangeable battery and wireless charging
The German manufacturer Gigaset has presented the GS3 and GS4, two smartphones with exchangeable batteries and support for wireless charging at a speed of up to 10W. Few smartphones with a removable battery appear.
With the smaller of the two, the GS3, it is also possible to buy backs for four euros each, according to Gigaset . That used to be more common with telephones, but there is hardly any modern smartphone with an interchangeable back.
Both budget smartphones will be released this fall and have multiple cameras and a fingerprint scanner on the back and a screen with a notch for the front camera on the front. The GS3 has a 720p screen, the GS4 has 1080p. The GS4 is also the fifth Gigaset smartphone to receive the ‘Made in Germany’ designation, due to its manufacture in the German city of Bocholt. Both phones will be released in November. The GS3 costs 179 euros, the GS4 229 euros.
