Gigabyte releases gaming mouse XM300
Hardware manufacturer Gigabyte has added the XM300 gaming mouse to its range. It is the first gaming mouse in Gigabytes Xtreme Gaming series. The mouse is equipped with a Pixart 3988 optical sensor of up to 6400dpi.
The mouse can be set between 50 and 6400dpi, in 50dpi increments. According to Gigabyte, the mouse has a frame rate of 12,500 frames per second. The XM300 has a maximum tracking speed of 508cm per second at an acceleration of 50g. The lifespan of the left and right mouse buttons is estimated at 20 million clicks per button.
Furthermore, the mouse comes with customizable lighting options. The colors can be set and actions linked to the buttons via the accompanying program Xtreme Macro Engine. The XM300 comes with two extra bottoms to replace in case of wear.
The mouse has a total of seven buttons, two of which are for the dpi setting and two are on the left side. The dimensions of the mouse are 130x60x43mm and it weighs 101 grams without cable. The mouse has a 1.8 meter USB cable.
It is not yet known when the XM300 will be released on the market. Gigabyte has not yet released any information about the price.
