Gigabyte releases Aorus M5 gaming mouse with positionable weights
Gigabyte has announced the Aorus M5, a mouse aimed at gamers. Mouse users can not only adjust the weight, but also place the weights on either side of the sensor to find the optimal balance.
The Aorus M5 is equipped with an optical sensor, the Pixart 3389, with a sensitivity of 16,000 dpi, where the sensitivity can be set quite precisely between 50 and 16,000 dpi, in steps of 50 dpi. Four weights of 2.5 grams can be placed around the sensor, with room for a fifth weight underneath. Allows the weight to be adjusted from 118 grams to 130.5 grams.
Gigabyte’s Aorus M5 mouse features RGB lighting that can be synced with other Aorus RGB Fusion products. Lighting effects can also be set. The mouse is equipped with Omron switches, which should last 50 million clicks.
The manufacturer has announced the release of the mouse, although it is not exactly clear whether the device will be available immediately or will be available at a later date. It is also still unclear how much the Aorus M5 will cost.
