Gigabyte introduces mini-itx version of GTX 1070
Gigabyte has announced a mini-itx version of the GTX 1070. The card with a length of 16.9 centimeters, is delivered overclocked. Gigabyte has equipped the GeForce GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC with a single 90mm fan.
The new card in Gigabyte’s mini-itx series bears the product name GV-N1070IXOC-8GD, Computerbase reports. The card runs at 1531MHz with boost to 1721MHz, but in OC Mode the clock speed increases to 1556MHz with a maximum of 1746MHz. Nvidia’s GTX 1070 reference card runs at 1506MHz with boost to 1683MHz.
There is 8GB of gddr5 memory that effectively runs at 8008MHz, just like the standard card from Nvidia. Gigabyte has provided the GeForce GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC with a 5+1 phase power supply, where the reference card has to make do with 4+1 phases. As far as outputs are concerned, displayport 1.4, hdmi 2.0b and a duo of DVI ports are present. According to the German site, the price will be around 485 euros at release.
