Gigabyte announces three gaming monitors with high refresh rates
Gigabyte has announced three monitors during CES. The company shows two curved screens with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a flat 1080p monitor. Gigabyte is not yet reporting release dates or suggested retail prices.
Gigabyte lists the monitors on its website, including the G27F. This is a flat 27″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. According to Gigabyte, the screen can display all colors of the sRGB color space and supports the FreeSync standard. The screen also gets the G-Sync Compatible- The G27F also contains a built-in stereo speaker, the manufacturer has not yet mentioned any further specifications.
The Gigabyte G27QC has a 1440p resolution and a screen curvature of 1500R, which means that the curvature has a radius of 1500mm. The monitor has a refresh rate of 165Hz, can display 90 percent of the dci-p3 color space and is according to Gigabyte HDR Ready. The company does not mention achievable brightness levels. This screen is compatible with G-Sync and supports the FreeSync Premium standard. Just like the G27F, the G27QC has two built-in speakers.
The Gigabyte G32QC is broadly the same as the 27″ model, but has a screen diagonal of 32″ and has DisplayHDR 400 certification and support for FreeSync Premium Pro. The screen also has no built-in speakers. The resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, refresh rate of 165Hz and screen curvature of 1500R remain the same.
Gigabyte doesn’t mention release dates of the screens yet, but on its manufacturer’s site it says ‘coming soon’. The suggested retail prices are not yet known.
