Gigabyte announces BRIX mini desktops with Intel Jasper Lake processors

Gigabyte has announced three new compact BRIX desktops, which will be equipped with an Intel Pentium Silver or Celeron processor. These processors produced at 10nm are of the Jasper Lake generation.

These are the GB-BMPD-6005 , GB-BMCE-5105 and the GB-BMCE-4500C . These three models share the same case and other specifications; they only differ in CPU and cooling. The BMPD is the top model and will receive a Pentium Silver N6005. This quadcore has a tdp of 10W and a claimed clock speed of 2.8GHz. The BMCE-5105 has the quad core Celeron N5105 and also has a tdp of 10W and a claimed clock speed of 2.8GHz. Unlike the other two models, the BMCE-4500C has no fan and the CPU is an Intel Celeron N4500 dual-core with a claimed clock speed of 2.8 GHz and a tdp of 6W.

The three models come in a case measuring 46.8×112.6×119.4mm and support a VESA mount. The barebones support a maximum of one SO-DIMM-DDR4 bar of 16GB, come with a Wi-Fi card and an Intel UHD Graphics 605 chip. The BRIX models have an HDMI 2.0a and DisplayPort 1.2a connection with which two monitors with a maximum resolution of 4096×2160 pixels at 60Hz can be connected. There are also four USB 3.0 ports, one of which is Type-C, there is a single RJ45 port and a headphone and a mic port.

Finally, the new BRIXs support an M.2 2280 ssd and a 2.5 “disk. Gigabyte does not mention prices and availability.
