Gigabyte announces Aorus 7 and 5 gaming laptops with Core i7-10750H

Gigabyte announces two new midrange laptops for gamers in the form of Aorus 7 B and Aorus 5 B models, which the company supplies the Core i7-10750H in combination with, among other things, a GeForce RTX 2060.

The Aorus 7 has a 17.3″ screen and the Aorus 5 a 15.6″ screen. In both cases, it is an IPS panel with full-HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Both laptops come in KB, SB and MB versions and the biggest difference between those versions concerns the video card. With the KB versions, the video card is a GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB gddr6, with the SB it is a GTX 1660 Ti with 6GB gddr6 and with the MB a GTX 1650 Ti with 4GB gddr6.

In that respect, the MB version is the entry-level model, because it also lacks displayport 1.4 output via USB-c and, moreover, the battery capacity is 41Wh compared to 48.96Wh for the KB and SB variants of the Aorus 7 and 5. while the MB laptop is three millimeters thinner than the other models, in both the 17.3″ and 15.6″ versions.

All laptops in the respective Aorus line have a backlit keyboard and as far as the further specifications are concerned, they have the Intel Core i7-10750H hexacore, space for a 2.5″ HDD and two MS SSDs and support for WiFi-ax. and bluetooth 5.0.The Windforce cooling to keep the system at temperature has four heatpipes, according to Gigabyte.The prices of the laptops are not yet known.
