Ghost of Tsushima will get an update with co-op and New Game + on October 16

Sony will release version 1.1 of Ghost of Tsushima for PlayStation 4 on October 16. The update adds the previously announced cooperative online multiplayer mode and the game will also get a New Game + mode. The game’s co-op mode is called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends and there is a choice of story missions for two players or survival missions for up to four players. There will also be a Raid option, which will be added in the weeks after its release, Sony writes. Players can choose from four classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin. Version 1.1 also adds a New Game + mode to the game. Gamers who have completed Ghost of Tsushima can use this to start the story again, keeping all of their items and techniques from their previous session. The difficulty level goes up in this mode to provide more challenge, but players can also adjust that down again.
