Ghost Games’ New Need For Speed Game Coming Late 2017
Developer Ghost Games has announced that the studio is working on a new Need For Speed game, which will be released at the end of this year. Car customization will play a major role in the new part and the game will have an offline mode.
In a post on its website, Ghost Games writes that customizing cars is an important part of the Need For Speed series. The developer states that this will play an important role in the future game. The developer also says that races in the new game will not only take place on asphalt, but also on off-road roads. Furthermore, Ghost Games lists police chases as an important part of Need For Speed games. The studio received a lot of ‘feedback’ on the always online feature of the Need For speed reboot from 2015. According to the makers, the new game will have a single player mode that can be played completely offline.
The developer shows an image with a sign with the date June 2. Ghost Games will probably give more info about the new game on that day. The developer promises to announce more as the EA Play event gets closer. That event kicks off on June 10, just before the E3 games show. Publisher EA previously announced that a playable version of the new Need For Speed game will be shown.
