German Indie Game Studio Jo-Mei Unveils EA Originals Game Sea of Solitude
Berlin-based indie game studio Jo-Mei unveiled its new game Sea of Solitude at Electronic Arts’ E3 press conference. The game will be a third-person adventure game about a girl who, due to her sense of loneliness, turns into a monster.
During the presentation, one of the studio’s leaders talks about the protagonist, Kay, who has to defeat several monsters in the game world, as well as the monster that has nestled inside herself. Other than the player character and monsters, no other characters are visible in the images.
The game is part of EA’s Originals program, which also resulted in the recent game A Way Out. The program aims to produce innovative indie games. Sea of Solitude, or SOS, should be available sometime in early 2019. The game will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as Windows.
