With Varia Vision, Garmin will offer cyclists the opportunity to gain insight into all kinds of data. Cyclists can use the head-up display with their own cycling glasses by clicking the device. Among other things, the display can warn of traffic coming from behind.

The head-up display can show everything from speed and bike route to incoming calls. For this it is necessary that the Vario Vision is connected to external sensors, because the device itself is not equipped with them. For example, the display can be connected to the Garmin Edge cycling computer to show information about the route. In combination with the Varia radar, the device can also warn cyclists of traffic approaching from behind.

The Varia Vision lasts up to eight hours on a single battery charge. Cyclists can switch between the different information screens by sliding on the outside of the device. The waterproof display weighs only 30 grams and can be adjusted as desired. The price is 400 dollars, converted about 370 euros. The Varia Vision should be available in the first quarter of 2016. Garmin already came up with a separate head-up display for in the car.
