Gamestudio will release Harry Potter mobile RPG next year
The American game studio Jam City will release Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery next year. It is the second announced game under Harry Potter license. Niantic is also working on a mobile game featuring the sorcerer’s apprentice.
In Hogwarts Mystery, players can take on the role of an apprentice from Hogwarts wizarding school, but otherwise Jam City does not disclose what the game’s story is, how players will operate it, how much the game will cost, and when it will be released. The American game studio with five hundred employees only announces that the mobile game will appear in 2018 for iOS and Android.
Hogwarts Mystery is the second game announced under Warner Bros’ Portkey Games label. Under that label, Warner Bros. will license games that use Harry Potter characters for years to come. Niantic is working on Wizards Unite, an ar game with characters and elements of Harry Potter.
