Nubia will release its Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone on October 16 for 479 euros. For that amount, buyers get the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage. There is also a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which will cost 599 euros.

In many ways, the Red Magic 3S is similar to the original Red Magic 3, but the new model has a slightly faster Snapdragon 855 Plus soc and ufs 3.0 storage. The prices of the new version are the same as the introductory prices of the original model released in Europe in May.

The Red Magic 3S has a 6.65″ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The Android phone contains a 5000mAh battery and the housing has capacitive shoulder buttons and a fan for active cooling.

Nubia will offer the new model in Europe from October 16 through its own website. The device competes with the Black Shark 2 Pro, among others. That device has similar specifications, but is more expensive with a price from 599 euros.
