Game Bar in Windows gets support for Spotify and uploading screenshots
The Game Bar in Windows 10, a menu that can be called up by pressing the Windows key and G in a game, will receive support for Spotify and Microsoft’s own chat function. It also makes it easier for users to take, annotate and share screenshots.
Users can customize the Game Bar’s interface themselves, Microsoft reports. The Spotify integration works with a separate login for the Game Bar and so users can control music. In addition, the Game Bar gets buttons to control the audio. A menu will also appear that displays cpu and gpu load. In addition, Microsoft puts its own chat function as it also works on the Xbox One in the Game Bar. A new function also makes it possible to take in-game screenshots, annotate them and upload them directly without the game disappearing from view.
The new features are available immediately for testers who have the Xbox Insiders version of the Game Bar. The new interface elements should make gaming on Windows 10 more attractive, Microsoft argues.
