Galax releases DDR4 memory sets with speeds of up to 5000MT / s in Asia

Galax has released some new ddr4 memory sets in Asia, including a 16GB kit that has speeds of up to 5000 mega transfers per second. That set will receive a suggested retail price of 426 euros converted. It is not yet known whether the memory will also be available in Europe.

Galax, which releases products in Europe under the brand name KFA2, is announcing the products on its Chinese website. The company is introducing three new product series for memory kits: HOF OC Lab Phantom, HOF OC Lab Diamond, and an RGB variant of the latter series. For the time being, the manufacturer only comes with memory sets that consist of two 8GB modules, for a total of 16GB. All memory sets that Galax is announcing this week have Samsung B-Die memory.

The new sets in the HOF OC Lab Diamond series are particularly striking; these memory kits reach a maximum speed of 5000MT / s via xmp, according to Galax, with timings of 19-26-26-46. However, the Diamond RGB series will be available with a maximum speed of 4800MT / s. The Phantom variants, in turn, will be available in slower speeds of up to 4000MT / s with different timings.

The memory dimms have black PCBs and are equipped with white heat spreaders. The memory modules in the Diamond series are also decorated with diamond-like patterns, with or without RGB LEDs on the top. The Phantom series, in turn, only has RGB LEDs, but otherwise has a relatively simple design. The RGB lighting can be controlled via the software of motherboard manufacturers such as ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte and MSI.

At the time of writing, Galax has only released the memory sets in Asia. It is not known whether the modules will also be available in Europe. For example, at the time of writing, the memory sets are not yet on the KFA2 website. The company does not publish euro prices, although it does mention Chinese recommended prices. However, these are expected to deviate from any European recommended prices.
