G.Skill introduces memory sets with speeds up to 4400MT/s and cl17 timings
Memory manufacturer G.Skill has announced a number of new memory sets. Released in the Trident Z Royal series, these sets have speeds of up to 4400 mega transfers per second and timings of 17-18-18-38. The company will launch the memory sets later this year.

G.Skill says it comes with nine different sets, with speeds of up to 4400MT/s. The company also releases the memory sets with speeds of 4000, 4133 and 4266MT/s.
At each speed, users can choose from sets with two memory modules of 8 or 16 GB. A DDR4-4400 kit with four 8GB memory modules is also available. All sets also have the same timings of 17-18-18-38. The voltages range between 1.4 and 1.5V, depending on the selected speed.
G.Skill supplies the modules with Samsung B-die memory chips. Since the modules will be released in the Trident Z Royal series, the heat spreaders will be patterned with gemstones and individually addressable RGB LEDs. G.Skill will launch the sets in the third quarter of this year. There is no mention of suggested retail prices yet.
