G.Skill Introduces LT1 Enclosure for mATX Motherboards
G.Skill introduces the LT1: a compact mATX case with a tempered glass side panel and an open front grille for airflow. The LT1 has space for graphics cards up to 360mm, an AIO radiator up to 280mm and up to five storage drives.
The G.Skill LT1 enclosure supports both mATX and the smaller mini-ITX sized motherboards. There is space for graphics cards with a length of up to 360mm. The housing also supports air coolers with a height of up to 165mm. There is an open grille on the front of the LT1 housing, allowing airflow to cool the system. A 4mm thick tempered glass panel on the side allows you to see the internal hardware from the outside.
There are four 2.5″ storage drive bays in the enclosure and one 2.5″/3.5″ drive tray is provided. There is room for a total of five storage drives. The audio output and microphone input are separate from each other in a panel on the top of the case, as well as the power button and a reset button, and there are two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 connection.
According to G.Skill the front of the case offers space for two 120mm or 140mm fans. The same configuration is possible on the top and a single 120mm fan fits on the back. The manufacturer says it can also fit a 240mm or 280mm radiator on the front of the case. It is not yet known when the G.Skill LT1 will be available and for what price.
