Fujifilm has presented the X-T100 system camera. This new model has a 24.2-megapixel sensor and, like the X-A5, does not have a traditional X-Trans sensor, but a cmos with a regular Bayer design. The device will cost 599 euros.

The 24.2-megapixel sensor in the Fujifilm X-T100 is of the aps-c format and has a sensitivity of 200 to 12,800 iso, which can be digitally expanded to 100 to 51,200 iso. The new camera features phase detection autofocus and can use 91 points in autofocus in single autofocus mode. These specifications are entirely the same as the previously released X-A5, with the biggest difference being that the X-T100 has an electronic viewfinder.

The 3 “touch screen on the back can be tilted horizontally to the side, which makes the device interesting for vloggers, among other things. The screen can also be tilted vertically and has more than a million pixels. The housing in which the EVF is located is something tilted, leaving room for a built-in flash.Fujifilm’s new mirrorless camera can shoot in 4k resolution, but is limited to a maximum frame rate of fifteen frames per second. In full HD resolution, videos can be recorded in up to 60fps.

According to the manufacturer, the battery of the camera is good for taking a maximum of 430 photos and the device weighs 448 grams. The X-T100 is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth and, unlike the more expensive X-T20, does not have specific rotary wheels for setting the ISO value or exposure compensation, but has a more regular configuration with a PASM wheel.

Like the devices in the XA series, the X-T100 does not have an X-Trans sensor, but a sensor with a regular Bayer design that the other camera manufacturers also use. The X-Trans sensor is considered a sensor that produces more beautiful colors, but also makes it more difficult to edit photos in the raw file format.

The X-T100 will be on the market in June for a price of 599 euros. Instead of just the housing, the camera can also be purchased with the XC15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens. This 136 gram, electrically powered zoom lens for the X-mount has an angle of view in wide-angle mode that is comparable to that of 23mm lenses on full-frame cameras. In combination with this lens, the camera costs 699 euros. The X-T100 will be available in the course of June.
