Fujifilm has released a roadmap for the new lenses that the company plans to release in 2012 and 2013 for its compact system camera X-Pro1. Four of them are primes, while three are zooms on the roadmap.

Fujifilm will release two of its seven XF lenses this fall. It concerns the XF14mm F2.8 and the XF18-55mm F2.8-F4. The 14mm lens had already been mentioned by Photo District News, which claimed to have had access to the roadmap at the time, but the brightness of that lens was not yet known. The site further stated that Fujifilm would release an 18-72mm lens for the new camera system, but the lens roadmap officially released by Fujifilm only lists the 18-55mm zoom for the end of 2012.

Three prime lenses will follow in early 2013. The XF56mm and XF23mm lenses have an aperture of f/1.4, while the XF27mm is a pancake lens with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. Two zoom lenses will be released in mid-2013: a telephoto zoom lens with a range of 55-200mm and a brightness of F3.5-4.8, and a wide-angle lens with a range of 10-24mm and a brightness of f/4 over the entire zoom range. Both lenses are equipped with image stabilization.

With the seven new lenses, the total number of lenses will soon be ten. Three lenses were already announced along with the X-Pro1 at the CES 2012 trade show in January. The high-end milc system is special because of the use of an aps-c image sensor with a different color filter configuration and the hybrid viewfinder, which comes from the earlier Fujifilm X100.
