Frontier Developments Adds Ghostbusters DLC To Planet Coaster

Developer Frontier Developments has released Ghostbusters DLC for Planet Coaster. The DLC includes a new campaign scenario, an interactive Ghostbusters ride and a new attraction. The package has a price of 15 euros.

The Ghostbusters DLC for Planet Coaster was released for PC on Tuesday. The DLC features a new campaign screenplay with the voices of Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton, actors from the original film. In the campaign, players’ amusement park is haunted by ghosts. There will also be an interactive Ghostbusters ride, in which players can shoot ghosts from the movies. Throughout the campaign, familiar faces from the Ghostbusters franchise will return, including “Slimer” and the “Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.”

There is also a new Ghostbusters-inspired attraction. The so-called RollerGhoster, is based on the mind ‘Slimer’. Objects and buildings from the 1984 Ghostbusters movie are also used. The Ghostbusters headquarters and Spook Central return, for example, as well as the ECTO-1 car and the classic Ghostbusters track.

It’s not the first expansion Frontier Developments has released for Planet Coaster. The company previously released Knight Rider, Back to the Future, and The Munsters DLC.
