From Software removes mandatory pvp infiltrations from sidequest in Elden Ring
Developer From Software rolled out an update for Elden Ring on Tuesday. After installing the version 1.06 update, players will be able to complete an important sidequest in the game without having to use the player-versus-player mode.
It concerns the sidequest of the character White Mask Varré. Previously, players could only complete his quest by “infiltrating” the in-game world of three other players. The reward for completing the quest is early access to Moghwyn Palace, an area reserved for players as young as level 110. It is loved by Elden Ring players because it is a place where players can easily access large amounts of runes, the in- game money in Elden Ring, can collect. Moghwyn Palace can also be reached in another way, but that option only becomes available in one of the final areas of the game.
For those who prefer not to use the pvp mode or prefer to play offline, there is now another option to complete Varré’s quest, writes publisher Bandai Namco. The player can choose to kill an npc designated by Varré, instead of hunting three other players.
Another addition to Elden Ring is sending summoning signs to multiple areas, also to pools further away from the player. In addition, infiltrating players can spawn in larger areas.
