Free-to-play game Forza Street coming to Windows and later for Android and iOS
Microsoft has released a free-to-play game in the Forza series. As far as gameplay is concerned, the racing game is very simple, players do not need to steer. The game is a rebrand of Miami Street that came out last year.
Developer Turn 10 Studios calls Forza Street a “Forza experience for everywhere.” According to the makers, the controls are aimed at timing the throttle, braking and the use of boosts. Players do not have to steer themselves at all. The game is free to download and in-app purchases are available.
Although Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios don’t mention it themselves, the game is a rebrand of the existing Miami Street. That game already appeared in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 last year, without Microsoft paying attention to it. Miami Street is still mentioned in the url that refers to the download from Forza Street. The game has also been receiving user reviews since May last year.
Forza Street is available immediately in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10. Versions for Android and iOS should be released later this year, but when is not yet known. Forza Street is set in Miami and revolves around street racing and collecting cars. There is a storyline and it is possible to drive a single race quickly.
