Forza Street launches on May 5 for Android and iOS
The free-to-play Forza Street, which became available in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 a year ago, will also be released on May 5 for Android and iOS. The game is basically a rebrand of Miami Street that came out way back in 2018.
Interested parties can pre-register for the game in Google Play or via the Galaxy Store; this option will follow for players who wish to play the game on an iPhone or iPad. The game is a simplified version of the Forza games. For example, players don’t have to steer to maneuver their cars through the streets; the controls of the car revolve around timing the throttle, brakes and deploying boosts.
Forza Street is all about relatively short-lived street racing in Miami and collecting and upgrading cars. There are also narrative events with different ways to win. Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios cite the presence of an in-game currency and gold, although it is not clear how these elements are part of the game and how players can spend real money.
