Forza Horizon 4 launches on Steam on March 9th
Microsoft is bringing Forza Horizon to Steam. Previously available for PC only in the Microsoft Store, the game will be released on the Valve platform on March 9. There is support for crossplay with the game on Xbox consoles.
Both Forza Horizon 4 and the two paid expansions Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions will be available for purchase on Steam starting March 9. There is full crossplay support with versions on other platforms, Microsoft reports. The Steam version also includes previously released free expansions, such as the recent Super7 addition that lets players create stunt tracks.
Forza Horizon 4 is the first Forza game to appear on Steam. The game was released in 2018 for the Xbox One and for Windows 10 PCs via the Microsoft Store. In recent years, Microsoft has released multiple games from Xbox Game Studios on Steam, including Flight Simulator, Sea of Thieves, Ages of Empires, Grounded, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
