Forgotten Empires publishes roadmap Age of Empires II Definitive Edition
Forgotten Empires has published the Age of Empires II Definitive Edition roadmap. It contains the updates that players can expect in the summer, fall and 2023. The roadmap includes some teasers.
This summer, players of Age of Empires II Definitive Edition will be able to look forward to shortcuts for rematches and the rts game will also receive support for ranked map pool voting. Updates will follow in the fall make popular mods available through the settings.
Forgotten Empires, recently acquired by Keywords, promises to release monthly updates for AoE II DE in 2023, giving players the assurance that the game will remain supported next year. The developer also puts forward some teasers.
For example, in the fall ‘something else’ appears in the game and the studio refers to an anniversary, possibly the 23rd anniversary of Age of Kings. As for 2023 updates, the studio is hinting at Dynasties of India and “old friends.” For the rest of this year and next year, Forgotten Empires will continue to release updates to improve the balance of the classic strategy game.
