Flitsmeister for Android Auto is available to all users
Flitsmeister for Android Auto is out of beta. A beta version was already available since February, but with the latest update, Android Auto integration is available to all users of the app.
The final version of the Android Auto integration has been implemented in Flitsmeister and users do not have to download a separate app. The makers of the app let Androidworld know. Anyone who has a car that is compatible with Android Auto can display Flitsmeister on the dashboard by connecting the Android phone containing the app via USB or Bluetooth.
With the Android Auto version of Flitsmeister, users can navigate and, just like with the regular app, warnings are displayed for speed cameras, speed cameras and speed checks. The app also gives warnings if, for example, a car is parked on the road or an emergency service is approaching at a certain location. Earlier this month, Flitsmeister added a soundpack with instructions and warnings recorded by Formula 1 commentator Olav Mol.
