Fitbit comes with the Charge 2 and Flex 2, two fitness trackers. The first model is equipped with an OLED screen and the second only has indicator lights. Users can swim with Flex 2 for the first time with a Fitbit product.

The Charge 2 is the successor to the Charge HR released in 2014. The device has several sensors, including a heart rate sensor, an accelerometer and an altimeter. The OLED screen is larger than that of its predecessor, although Fitbit does not mention the exact dimensions. The Charge 2 also has bluetooth 4.0, which allows synchronization with various iOS, Android and Windows devices. In addition, it is possible to use a GPS module on a smartphone, which does not have the wearable itself on board. The battery lasts about five days on a single charge, according to Fitbit. In addition, the device is splash resistant and the Charge 2 is not suitable for swimming.

The Flex 2 can be used for that purpose, up to a depth of one hundred meters. This wearable has no screen, but has five LED lights that can display different patterns. For example, they can indicate that a message or a call is coming in or indicate how far the user is still from a training target. The only sensor in this device is an accelerometer and this variant is also equipped with bluetooth 4.0. The Flex variant has a detachable tracker, so it does not always have to be worn around the arm. Both models have a vibration motor, which can support notifications.

The models will be released in Europe in September or October, with the Flex priced at 99.95 euros. The Charge 2 costs 159.95 euros.
