First AMD B650 motherboards appear at American webshop
An American web store has put several AMD B650 motherboards online on its website. The retailer put seven different models of MSI online. The motherboards cost $200 to $330. It is not known whether these are final prices.
American webshop B&H Photo Video published B650 motherboards early on his website, noted tech website VideoCardz. It concerns a total of seven models, all of which have a B650 chipset. The web store does not put motherboards with more expensive B650E chipset online.
The motherboards will be available in the PRO, MAG and MPG series. MSI supplies variants in the ATX, mATX and mini-ITX formats. The cheapest motherboard is the MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI, with a listed price of $200. B&H also publishes an MSI PRO B650-P WIFI for $220, two motherboards for $240, a variant for $259. The most expensive two motherboards will be available in the MPG series and cost $290 and $330. It is not known whether these prices are final; it is also possible that these are placeholders.
AMD recently released its Ryzen 7000 processors, introducing a new socket for the first time since Zen was introduced. So far, only more expensive X670 and X670 motherboards have appeared on the market, which are available from 339 euros. AMD previously confirmed that cheaper B650 and B650E motherboards will follow in October. Those motherboards lack, among other things, PCIe 5.0 support for video cards, although that standard is supported for an M.2 SSD. The cheapest motherboards with AM5 sockets will be available starting at $125, according to AMD. Presumably these concern B650 motherboards; AMD has not yet announced any lower-ranked chipsets.
