Yamaha has for its CX-A5200† RX-A1080† RX-V1085† RX-A2080† RX-V2085† RX-A3080 and RX-V3085 av receivers released new firmware with version number 1.45. The built-in DSP analyzes the content and optimizes the surround effect based on that. It takes specific elements in the sound into account, such as dialogues, background music, ambient noise and sound effects. All models support Dolby Atmos and DTS-X and differ, among other things, in the amount of sound channels and the type of the present ESS-Sabre-Pro-dac† The list of changes for this firmware release is very concise:
