Download Firmware Xtreamer Prodigy 3.5 RC 2

Xtreamer has released a second release candidate of version 3.5 of the firmware for the Xtreamer Prodigy. These Realtek 1186 chipset equipped media players are designed to play and stream media files from the optional built-in hard drive, a device on the internal network, wired or wireless, or over the Internet. There is a topic on our own GoT with more information about these and other Xtreamer models. In version 3.5, among other things, a new movie jukebox has been added, which itself gets its information from the internet, there is a new onscreen display and various optimizations have been made. In this update we also see the following improvements:

What’s new in this firmware?

• We added the ability to delete a movie from the jukebox. Simply press on the remote control on button key “0”

Improvements

• Optimized NFS. Still needs more fine tuning
• Fixed the libcurl issue. Now you dont need to run the install_prodigy.php or libcurlfix.php to make the xlive and xlistplay work

Bug fixed

• We fixed the power off issue when usb wifi is connected. we hope this issue will help us solve the disappearing jukebox database as was reported by some of you
• We fixed the filter function in the Jukebox. now it can remember the filter status that was selected.
