Download Firmware WD My Book Live 02.42.03
Western Digital has released new firmware for its My Book Live. The firmware has been assigned number 02.42.03 and must be updated via Dashboard, the graphical user interface of the My Book Live, which can be accessed via a web browser. This update should fix the following two issues:
Firmware Version 02.43.03 – 022
- Resolved compatibility issue with Time Machine in OSx Mavericks 10.9.x
- Resolved issue of inaccessible shares in Windows 8 for accounts that do not have a password set
