Download Firmware Tyan Thunder K8WE 1.05

Tyan has for its type motherboards Thunder K8WE (S2895) released a new BIOS with 1.05 as the version number. The motherboard is based around nVidia nForce pro 2200 and pro 2050 chips and accommodates two AMD Opteron 200 series processors with a Socket-940 socket. The list of changes looks like this:

New features and Fixes:

• Fixed an issue with nVidia Geforce 8800GTX cards where they would have a yellow ! next to the second card stating no resources available
• Added AMD errata 169
• Fixed an issue with proper detection of Qlogic cards on a 133MHz PCI-X bus
• Fixed an issue where the Option ROM scanning couldn’t be disabled in PCI-X slot 7
• Fixed booting to a CD/DVD which is set as Master on the IDE channel when there are no other IDE HD’s present
• Fixed an issue where SATA HD’s would not enumerate at Int13 properly
• Fixed a “Linux OS Level_triggered_interrupt and edge_triggered_interrupt” error
