Download Firmware Tyan Tempest i5000PX 1.04

Tyan has for its type motherboards Tempest i5000PX (S5380) released a new BIOS with 1.04 as the version number. The motherboard is based around an Intel 5000P chipset and accommodates two Intel Xeon 5000/5100 series processors with an LGA771 socket. The list of changes since the first release is as follows:

Version 1.04:

• Added support for the M2380 riser card
• Updated the method that the system access memory

Version 1.03:

• Add item for set delay time before option ROM scan in Main \ Boot Features under POST Delay Time
• Updated the MRC to v1.2
• Added the option “Halt on Errors:” Setup Item

Version 1.02:

• Added support for IPMI Boot
• Corrected memory speed display during POST
• Updated CPU microcode
• Updated ACHI Option ROM to v1.08

Version 1.01:

• Added Processor Power Management option
• Added Keyboard error report select item
• Fixed an issue where some CD-ROM couldn’t be detected properly
• Fixed a memory speed issue
• Fixed an issue where the memory speed was not detected properly during POST
• Updated CPU microcoding
• Fixed an issue where RedHat 4 couldn’t be installed if PPM is set to [Enabled] or HT was set to [Disabled]
• Updated Intel ACHI Option ROM to v102
• Updated Intel MRC to v111 R2
