TP-Link has released new firmware for the version 2 of the TL-WR1043ND. This router offers WiFi in the flavors b, g and n, has four gigabit network ports and also has a USB port with which a hard drive or USB stick can be shared over the network. In this release, a speedboost function has been added, which increases the speed of the wireless connection to 450Mbps. By updating all settings will be lost and it is also not possible to import an old configuration file.

• Old firmware’s configuration file can’t be imported into this new firmware.
• Your device’s configuration will be lost after upgrading, which means you need to configure your device again.
