Synology is developing version 1.1 of the firmware for its RT1900ac router and recently released a beta. This device has excellent performance, extensive features and is easy to operate through a user interface similar to Synology Disk Station Manager. In version 1.1, among other things, the possibility has been added to connect a second WAN connection and use it as a backup connection or load balancer. There are also security improvements and an app to measure signal strength to find the best location for the router.

If you change a file on one device, it’s automatically updated on the other devices, so you can move between home and work, desktop and mobile, while working seamlessly on the same file.
