Download Firmware Synology RT1900ac 1.0.1 build 6007 update 2

Synology has released new firmware for its RT1900ac router, the third update already this month. This device is capable of excellent performance, has extensive features and is easy to operate through a user interface similar to Synology Disk Station Manager. In version 1.0.1 build 6007, support for vlan tagging has been added, which means that in many cases the router can be used to replace a modem supplied by the internet provider and a tab ‘IPTV & VoIP’ has been added in the Network Center. The following improvements have also been made in this update:

• Enhanced security for SSH connections (CVE-2016-0777 and CVE-2016-0778).
• Fixed an issue where FTP transmission through PPPoE may not work when firewall rules are in place.
