Download Firmware Sony PlayStation 4 2.01

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 4. The firmware carries version number 2.01 and is 207MB in size. Downloading is preferably done from the menu of the game console itself, but can also be done via the Sony website. Version 2.01 should fix the issue introduced with update 2.0 that the game console would no longer boot from sleep mode.

The main features in version 2.01 of the system software

• Stability of the system software when powering on the system and when entering rest mode has been improved.
