Download Firmware Sony PlayStation 3 3.60

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 3. The firmware has been given jersey number 3.60 and is 176MB in size. You can download it from the menu of the console itself or from the Sony website. In this release, the online storage capability has been added. Users with a PlayStation Plus subscription have 150MB of storage space at their disposal to store save games, for example. Another addition is the possibility to switch off the controller after a certain time in order to save energy.

• Online storage
  [Online opslag] is as a feature under Game > [Hulpprogramma voor opgeslagen data (PS3™)] added. You can save the saved data from PlayStation 3 software on a PlayStation Network server and download it to another PlayStation 3 system to continue playing your game on it. You must have a PlayStation Network account and be a PlayStation Plus member to use this feature.
• Settings
  You can now under [Instellingen voor energiebesparing] > [Controller automatisch uitschakelen] set the PS3 system to turn off any connected or paired controllers after 10, 20, or 30 minutes of inactivity.
