Download Firmware Sony PlayStation 3 2.70

Sony has a new firmware update for the PlayStation 3 on Thursday released. The new firmware has been given version number 2.70 and can here for the console to be downloaded. The main innovation in version 2.70 is the ability to chat with other PlayStation Network users. Furthermore, it is also possible to save video content purchased via the PSN to an external storage medium and restore it at a later time. • text chat

You can now use text chat to chat with people on your friends list. You can also chat with others while playing the same or a different game via text chat.

Settings

• [Dynamic Normalizer] is an option under [Muziekinstellingen] added.

game

• You can now easily search the Internet for information about your PLAYSTATION®3 format software and games purchased from PlayStation®Store. First select the game icon and then select [Internetzoeken] in the options menu to view search results based on the title of the game.

Network

• You can now paste and copy text from an internet page that you view via your internet browser.

• The option [Beveiliging browser] has been added to the Internet browser menu. The websites for the web filtering services previously covered by [Bladwijzers] were displayed can now be found under this new option.

• The order in which your friends appear in the friends list has been changed. If you have any pending requests from other users to add them to your friends list, those users will now appear at the top of your friends list.
• The maximum size of files that you can attach to messages has been increased to 3 MB.

Others

• Also Polish, Greek, Czech, Slovak and Turkish can now be displayed by the internet browser.
