Download Firmware Rockbox 3.4

A new stable release of Rockbox was released on Thursday with version number 3.4. Rockbox is an open source alternative to the firmware of many portable music players, including several models from Apple, Archos, Cowon and iRiver. The firmware adds additional functionality such as support for multiple formats and the ability to delete or rename files from the player. • New Pitch Detector plugin (FS#8768)
• Viewports are now available for the user interface. (FS#8799)
• Support for RealMedia files containing ATRAC3 audio.
• Support for RealMedia files containing AC3 audio.
• Support for RealMedia files containing AAC audio.
• New viewer plugin to display PNG images on color LCD targets (FS#9493)
• New game plugin: Clix (a Same Game clone). (FS#8925)
• Support for RealMedia files containing Cook audio.
• Database stability improvements.
• Touch screen calibration screen added.
• Timestretching added – allows speed and pitch to be set independently. (FS#8894)
• You are now able to control your PC music player app using your DAP with USB HID while connected
• New alternative default sorting algorithm, which is number-aware. (FS#8314)

• cowon: iAudio X5, X5V, X5L, M5, and M5L
• iRiver: H100, H300 and H10 series
• Olympus: M:Robe 100
• SanDisk: Sansa c200, e200 and e200R series (not the v2 models/AMS models)
• Toshiba: Gigabeat X and F series (not the S series)
