Download Firmware Ricoh GXR 1.33

Ricoh has for his GXR– digital cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.33. With these cameras, both the lens and the image sensor are housed in one module, which can be placed on the GXR body. For more information, please refer to this news article, which briefly discusses the set-up. The list of customizations for this firmware version is as follows:

Version 1.33

Add the following enhanced features. The detailed information is available in a PDF document .

• [New option : SCENE modes]
  The following 5 modes has been added to the SCENE mode; [Soft Focus], [Cross Process], [Toy Camera], [Miniaturize]and [High Contrast B & W].
• [New option : Target Tracking] in AE/AF Target Shift
  Target Tracking has been added as a AE/AF Traget Shift method that displays when the ADJ. liver is pressed.
• [Reset/Cancel for Target Shifting]
  Pressing the delete button during target shift returns the target position to the center of the image. Pressing the delete button again exits target shifting.
• [Enlarge display for Target Shift]
  When enlarging a picture at playback, the picture will be magnified with centering around the position of AE/AF target shift.
• [New option : Zoom button assignment]
  [Exposure Compensation] and [White Balance] can be assigned to the zoom button.

Modified the following.

• Adjusted the position of date imprinting when taking a picture with the following conditions; Date Imprint On, Auto Resize zoom On, Picture size [1M].
