Ricoh has for his G700SE-digital cameras released new firmware with version number 1.06. These cameras have a 1/2.3″ CCD image sensor of 12.1 megapixels on board and have a lens with a range of 28 to 140mm, which brings the optical zoom to 5x. The accompanying list of changes looks like follows from:

Version 1.06:

Added Folder naming options

2 Added the option for Show Folder at startup

3 Added Folder playback option

4 Corrected the phenomenon that the camera may not recognize the GP-1 (optional GPS unit) properly.
