QNAP has released version 3.8 of the firmware for the NAS devices equipped with an ARM processor. In this release we find, among other things, a new user interface and it has become easier to install the NAS. Furthermore, support for Windows 8 has been added, proxies can now be used and it is now possible to specify per user which network services and modules may be used. Firmware V3.8 of QNAP Turbo NAS fully supports Windows 8 operating system. Now you can get more out of your Turbo NAS with Windows 8.

Starting is easy
Setting up the Turbo NAS system is simplified to a few simple steps on the web browser. It’s easy and doesn’t require an installation CD-ROM.

Redesigned homepage
The brand new home page includes a single sign-on portal, showing only applications that have been authorized after user login. It also allows for quick switching between applications to increase productivity.
