Cloud Media has released new firmware for the A-400. Also known as a Networked Media Jukebox, this device can play audio and video from an external hard drive connected to the device, a NAS system or a computer on the network. Updating the firmware can be done by extracting the zip file to the root folder of a USB memory stick, then going in the menu to Setup > Maintenance > Firmware Update and clicking the ‘Check For Firmware Update’ button. The list of changes for this update is as follows:

Firmware

• Fixed sometimes video resume from bookmark will be shown with wrong aspect ratio
• Fixed subtitle (srt) color setting not apply to last chacrater in the subtitle
• Fixed external srt subtitle for m2ts file cannot be turned on during video playback
• Fixed DVD disc playback cannot stop after parental setting message popup
• Fixed framerate sync not working for some video file
• Fixed some wmv file no audio output after trick mode
• Fixed audio playlist page may crash when pressing stop key
• Fixed when playing list of wav file, some file cannot play until the end
• Fixed some wave file (8-bit unsigned) playback output audio noise only
• Fixed unsupported floating-point wave file can crash audio playback
• Fixed some vorbis ogg play with no sound
• Fixed some APE file play with buzzing sound
• Audio playlist page support unsync lyric
• Fixed AAC audio output as downmix when the setting is passthrough
• Fixed rotate OSD slow to show during photo slide show, when the image resolution is big
• Fixed audio playlist play wrong song in shuffle mode if delete song currently playing or before currently playing in the list

System

• Fixed if screensaver come out when tv is off, pressing any key after tv turn on will crash
• Fixed nmt torrent app sometimes turn off by itself during standby mode
• Improve loading speed of file listing page when current folder has a lot of subfolders
• Fixed data cd files and folders missing after return from browsing subdirectory
• Minor fix on russian translation at setup page

• Fixed NetEase-OpenCourse app cannot resume video playback
• Fixed Revision3 app video playback cannot seek

• Fixed unable to access to NMJ page if shared folder is read-only, even though NMJ database is already created
