Download Firmware Plextor 16/10/40A (PX-W1610TA)
Backspace-NL informed us that a firmware update has been released for the Plextor PX-W1610TA. The update, released April 22, 2002, contains the following changelog:
- Fixed a bug where the drive could not mount a CD-RW disc formatted by InCD v3.16.
- Fixed a bug where the drive may hang when scanning a mixed mode CD with CD Creator 5.1.1.102.
- Fixed a bug where an Auto-Run disc does not run on Windows XP system if the disc is the first one inserted after power on.
- Fixed a bug where the system would freeze when coming out of standby mode on Windows 2000.
- Added support for Orange Book Part 2 Volume 2 version 1.1.
